Golden Jubilee Valedictory Ceremony of Railway Junior College

Golden Jubilee Valedictory Ceremony of Railway Junior College (RJC), Tarnaka, Secunderabad was held today i.e., 23rd January, 2019 in the august presence of huge gathering of Students & alumnus of the college. Shri John Thomas, Additional General Manager, SCR graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, SCR presided over the function and Shri N.V.Ramana Reddy, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, SCR was present as Guest of Honour. Shri John Thomas released the Golden Jubilee Souvenir issue along with other dignitaries.

Addressing the large gathering, Shri John Thomas expressed that its matter of pride that Railway Junior College the prestigious institution o­n SCR for the past 50 years, is been able to continuously maintain its reputation, particularly in the last two decades which have seen a huge challenge coming from private educational institutions and is providing excellent education to the wards of Railway employees and other sections of the society. He opined it has been the endeavor of Railways to ensure that the Railway families and sections of the society are given the most important facility of proper and quality education, so that the children are shaped for a bright future in life, he added.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain congratulated the dedicated faculty of Railway Junior College institution which has stood dedicated to face the challenges of the present commercial educational system and triumphed.

Dr. V. Indira, Principal Railway Junior College (RJC) in her welcome address briefed o­n the various activities taken up involving alumnus during the Golden Jubilee year celebrations of the institution. She stated that alumnus of this premier institute are flourishing in various capacities and in all fields across the globe today. She stated that due to the efforts of experienced and highly qualified Team of Faculty Members have left no stone unturned to equip Students with Current Trends in Academics. Also the college is excelling in top in field of Sports, Culture, Social and societal arena, which happens to be the right mix for the overall development of a student. Later, Dignitaries presented awards and certificates to meritorious students who ranked top in academics and sports during the year.

Musical program was presented by Shri Vinod Babu, Nandi awardee and
Smt. Padmaja Vishwas. Spectacular dance performances were performed by Smt. Shilpa Chakravarthy; Shri. M. Madhusudan Rao alumnus of the college and their team members.
