Shri Suresh Prabhakar Prabhu, Hon’ble Minister of Railways flagged off the inaugural service of Train No. 02878 Ernakulam-Howrah Antyodaya Special Express on 27th February, 2017. The regular service of the Weekly Antyodaya Express will commencefromHowrah on 4th March, 2017 andErnakulam on 7th March, 2017 as per details given below:-
Accordingly, Train No. 22877 Howrah-Ernakulam Weekly Antyodaya Express Train will depart Howrah at 17:00 hrs on every Saturday (from 4thMarch, 2017), arrive/depart Duvvada at 07:35/07:37 hrs on the next day, Rajahmundry at 09:55/09:57 hrs, Vijayawada at 12:30/12:45 hrs, ongole at 14:34/14:36 hrs, Renigunta at 18:15/18:25 hrs and arrive Ernakulam at 06:00 hrs on Monday.
In the opposite direction, Train No. 22878 Ernakulam-Howrah Weekly Antyodaya Express Train will depart Ernakulam at 00:25 hrs every Tuesday (from7th March, 2017) and arrive/depart Renigunta at 12:05/12:15 hrs, ongole at 16:23/16:25 hrs, Vijayawada at 18:45/19:00 hrs, Rajahmundry at 21:13/21:15 hrs, Duvvada at 00:10/00:12 hrs on the next day and arrive Howrah at 14:50 hrs on Wednesday.
Enroute, the trains will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, ongole, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Palakkad and Thrisur stations in both directions.
These trains will have 18 coaches viz, sixteen Second Class Coaches and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
