Mega Passport Mela for Railway Employees and Family Members

South Central Railway in association with Ministry of External Affairs is organizing a Mega Passport Mela “MEE KOSAM” exclusively for the benefit of Railway Officers / Staff and their family members of Telangana area.

Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway formalized this employee welfare oriented initiative o­n the proposal of Dr. E. Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Regional Passport Officer, Hyderabad Passport Office.

The Mega Passport Mela got over whelming response from all quarters. A total number of 3000 Employees / Officers have registered from 11th March, 2017 to till date.

Three Passport Seva Kendras which are situated at twin cities area, i.e., at Begumpet, Ameerpet and Tolichowki have been nominated by the Passport Authorities exclusively for Railway men o­n 18th March, 2017, for payment of fee, for taking out digital signatures, obtaining Iris Images, Photo Scanning and Finger Printing etc. and different slots have been provided. So far Passport Seva Kendra, Begumpet slots numbering 1200 have been completed and allotted to all the Officers / Staff. Now Passport Seva Kendra, Ameerpet, slots are being allotted o­n 18th March, 2017 and more than 50% of the slots have already been completed. A total number of 2750 slots have been allotted so far.

The Employees / Officers interested in obtaining the passport are requested to get registered at Railway Degree College, Tarnaka, Secunderabad between 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs o­n 16th& 17th March, 2017.

They will have to submit the following documents in original and Xerox copy.

1.Address Proof: Aadhar Card / Voter ID / Driving License / Bank Statement / Letter from the Employer.

2.Proof for Date of Birth: Aadhar Card / Voter ID / Driving License / PAN Card.

3.SSC / X Class Certificate: In orginal + Xerox Copy

4.For Railway Employees: Annexure ‘H’

On 18th March, 2017, all the Railway Employees/ Family members who have registered their names between 11th – 17th March, 2017 will attend the Passport Seva Kendra, Begumpet, Secunderabad as per the allotted time slot exclusively earmarked for them for completing the procedure. They should carry all original certificates along with a Xerox copy and an amount of Rs. 1500/- by cash for payment of registration fee to the Passport Authorities.
