Commendable work done in Rajbhasha Hindi on South Central Railway -Vinod Kumar Yadav, GM/SCR


On South Central Railway commendable work is being done in Rajbhasha Hindi. Especially the information pertaining to Public and other technical items were displayed in an attractive manner. These words were expressed by the chief guest and General Manager, South Central Railway Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav o­n the occasion of the prize distribution ceremony of Rajbhasha Exhibition organized by Rajbhasha Section, Headquarters office o­n 21stMarch, 2017 at Rail Kalarang, Secunderabad. He said that the officers and staff of this Railway are very responsible in the propagation of Rajbhasha Hindi. He appreciated the work exhibited by the departments of Headquarters office, all the six Divisions, Workshops and also exhibition stall put up by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee (TOLIC) office National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE).

On the outset Sri Arjun Mundiya, Mukhya Rajbhasha Adhikari & Chief Mechanical Engineer, SCR in his welcome address expressed that organizing of such Rajbahsha exhibition enhances the spirit of competition among the offices. All the departments get inspired by other departments which strengthen the propagation of Hindi. The Special Guest & Additional General Manager, SCR Shri A.K.Gupta appreciated all the participants and expressed the view that something new can be learnt from each other. He asked the officers and staff of Rajbhasha Organisation to inspect and encourage Hindi in working. General Manager, SCR inaugurated the Rajbhasha Exhibition formally and visited all the stalls and appreciated all the participants. Shri P.K.Sangewar, Controller of Stores, Shri Mahboob Ali, Chief Signal & Telecommunications Engineer, Shri N.V.Ramana Reddy, Chief Personnel Officer, SCR were the judges for the Exhibition. The two departments from Headquarters office, the General Administration and Engineering Departments, Hyderabad Division, Lallaguda Workshop and MANAGE office were awarded.

The main attraction was the drama 'Cheenti ki jeet' staged by Vijayawada Division. General Manager, Additional General Manager appreciated the theme and presentation of drama. Later, General Manager, SCR presented Prizes to the winners and mementoes to the artists.

All the Principal Heads of Departments, Divisional Railway Managers, Additional Divisional Railway Managers of Hyderabad & Secunderabad Division and other Officials/Staff were present o­n the occasion. The programme was compeered by Smt. Ratna Mukharji and vote of thanks was delivered by
Shri Laxman Shivhare, Senior Rajbhasha Adhikari, SCR. The sincere efforts of Shri Shyam Sundar Sahu, Dy. General Manager (Rajbhasha) and staff of Rajbhasha Section, Headquarters made the function a grand success.
