Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, SCR Holds Interaction with Senior Supervisors of Engineering, Signal & Telecom, Electrical and Operating.


Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manger, South Central Railway held a wide-range of interactive meeting with the Senior Supervisory Staff of Engineering, Signal & Telecommunications, Electrical and Operating Staff representing the six divisions of the Zone today i.e 27th March, 2017 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.

The Interactive meeting was attended by staff working as Senior Section Engineers of Permanent Way; Over Head Electrification Systems & Traction Distribution; Signal & Telecom; Traffic Inspectors and Station Managers from Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Nanded, Guntur and Guntakal Divisions. The interactive meeting discussed o­n issues concerning Safety, punctuality and proper utilization of infrastructure, collective responsibilities, co-ordination between departments etc. Shri A.K.Gupta, Additional General Manager, SCR and Principal Heads of Departments representing Engineering, Electrical, Operating and Signal & Telecommunications were also present.  

Addressing the Interactive Meeting, Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav called upon the supervisory staff to work as a team and accord top priority to safety in train operations. Improvement of systems is a continuous process o­n Railways and administration is committed for Welfare of the staff. He invited all the participants to express their ideas, view points, suggestions and grievances. He assured for all possible help to be extended by the administration to the issues concerning for better productivity. Railways are making all the efforts for ensuring customer satisfaction. The General Manager extensively discussed o­n better utilization of infrastructure, collective responsibility of coordinating supervisors in execution of works which will improve the productivity.

The General Manager responded candidly for the issues raised by participants and instructed the Principal Heads of Departments to immediately take up the matters needing attention in the best interests of the organization. Shri A.K.Gupta, Additional General Manager congratulated the supervisory staff for their contribution to Railways and advised all of them to come out with innovative ideas to fulfill the idea of transforming Railways.

Shri M.S.Mahaboob Ali, Chief Signal & Telecommunications Engineer, Shri John Thomas, Chief Electrical Engineer, Shri N.Madhusudhan Rao,Chief Operations Manager and Shri S.N.Singh, Principal Chief Engineer also spoke during the interactive meeting.
