Leverage Technological Advances to Ensure Safety -Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, G M reviews performance of Engg. Dept.


Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway reviewed the performance of Engineering Department over the Zone with Senior Divisional Engineering Officers from Vijayawada, Guntur, Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Guntakal and Nanded divisions today i.e., 6th April, 2017 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.

The General Manager indicated the Engineering officials to leverage the technological advancements and ensure perfect track conditions and accord highest priority to the safety of train services. He undertook a detailed review of the various aspects pertaining to traffic facility works, track renewals, track machine progress, progress of bridges, elimination of level crossing gates, water conservation, rain water harvesting and passenger amenities works o­n all Divisions. He suggested them to accord priority for finalization of various plans of new works without delay and help in capacity augmentation for Railway network. He stressed upon completion of the sanctioned works within a fixed time frame. He also emphasized o­n works related to staff amenities as part of staff welfare.

Shri A.K. Gupta, Additional General Manager, Shri S.N.Singh, Principal Chief Engineer, Shri Bhoolchandani, Chief Administrative Officer, Construction, Shri N. Madhusudhana Rao, Chief Operations Manager, South Central Railway were amongst the officials present.
