The newly inaugurated hostel facility marks a major upgrade to the infrastructure of this premier Signal and Telecommunications Training Institute in the country. The residential needs of the trainees at IRISET are catered by 4 well-furnished Hostels. The Officers Hostel has three blocks ‘A’ and ‘B’ with 30 rooms each to accommodate 60 Officer Trainees and a ‘C’ wing with 15 suites for Senior Officers. The renovation of Officer’s Hostel has been undertaken for providing a comfortable stay for the trainees at a cost of around Rs. 0.81 Crore.
