ãðæðá 2015 - 2016 ¨÷î ÇðøÜðÐð ÙðüÀâð ¨îð ¨îðÚðáòÐðæÑððÇÐð

                                      DIVISION’S PERFORMANCE DURING 2015-16

  1. Total originating earnings stood at Rs 404.30 Crores during 2015-16 which is about Rs 13.48 Crores more than previous year. Division has registered an impressive growth of (+)3.45 %  over the originating earnings of previous year. 
  1. The earnings from Passenger traffic during 2015-16   was Rs 248.27 Crores which was (+) 6.16% higher than the  last year earnings.
  1. Other Coaching earnings stood at Rs. 15.99 Crores during 2015-16  which is (+) 16.89% higher than the last year earnings. 
  1. Sundry earnings during 2015-16  posted a growth of (+) 113.18% over the last year & stood at Rs.44.00 Cr. 
  1. Rigorous Ticket checking by the ticket checking squad of the division has resulted in earning of Rs. 513.82 Lakhs of rupees which is (+) 15 % higher than the last year earnings.

 

  1. Despite various constraints, Division has carried 41.144 Million passengers during  2015-16.
  1. In order to clear extra rush of traffic during Godavari Pushkarams at Basar, the summer season, Deepavali, Dassera, and Sabarimala piligims, division has run 280 special trains which include both originating and through trains apart from the regular train services. 645 extra coaches were augmented by various trains during the year 2015-16.

ãðæðá 2016 - 2017 (¸ðõÐð Ãð¨î) ¨÷î ÇðøÜðÐð ÙðüÀâð ¨îð ¨îðÚðáòÐðæÑððÇÐð

PERFORMANCE DURING 2016-2017 (till June)

  1. Total Earnings of the Division: The originating earnings stood at Rs.82.29 Crores to the end of June 2016 as against Rs.111.07 Crores during the corresponding period of previous year  a decrease of (-) 26%.

  1. Originating Passengers : The originating number of passengers to the end of June’16 was 10.809 Millions as against 10.477 Millions during the corresponding period of last year showing an increase of (+) 3%.

  1. Originating Passenger Earnings : The passenger earnings registered to the end of June’16 was Rs.66.41 Crores as against Rs.63.45 Crores during the corresponding period of previous year recording an increase of (+)5%.
  1. Originating Goods Earnings : The originating Goods Earnings to the end of June’16 was Rs.8.85 Crores as against Rs.33.57 Crores during the corresponding period of previous year recorded a decrease of (-) 74%

  1. Sundry Earnings : The sundry  earnings to the end of June ‘16 was Rs.3.19 Crores as against Rs.10.05 Crores during the corresponding period of previous year recording a decrease of (-)  68 %.

6.Ticket checking performance:

The Ticket checking earning to the end of Jun’16 was Rs. 147.13 Lakhs as against  Rs. 134.80 Lakhs  during the corresponding period of previous year recording an increase of (+) 9%.

IMPROVEMENTS TO PASSENGER SERVICES

Úððëðó çðô®ð - çðôòãðÏðð¦ü / Passenger Amenities:

ØOne R.O plant was commissioned on 26.04.2016 at KCG PF.No.: 1 (FM End) with 1000 litre/hr capacity, sponsored under CSR activity by M/s. HAL.

ØStainless Steel dustbins were supplied at Kacheguda (93 nos.), Sitafalmandi (05 nos.), at Artscollege  (05 nos) , Jamaiosmania (07 nos) &  Vidyanagar(07 nos).

ØTwo water vending machines were commissioned at Kacheguda PF 4/5 on 27-05-2016.

ØFour water vending machines were commissioned at Kurnool city PF – 1 & PF 2/3 on 06.05.2016

ØFree Wi-fi facility for bonafide passengers for ½ hour was provided at Kacheguda w.e.f  05.05.2016

ØSri Bala Brahmeshwara Jogulamba halt has been converted into flag station w.e.f 01.06.2016. Foundation stone was laid for up gradation of the station and provision of ‘E’ class facilities at this station on 23.06.16 by Sri. Nandi Yellaiah, Hon’ble MP ,Nagar Kurnool along with other dignitaries.

ØAdditional Seating arrangements  sponsored under MPLAD scheme at Mahbubnagar.

ØAdditional Cover over platform was provided at Gadwal PF-1

ØCC Apron has been provided at Mahbubnagar on Road -1

±ððÀÿó çð÷ãðð¦ü/Train Services:

ØOne extra GSCN and an ACCW coaches were attached by Train No.12797  during Apr- June earning Rs. 27.88 Lakhs.

ØOne extra GSCZ coach was attached by Train No. 17641 during Apr-Jun earning Rs.6.72 Lakhs

ØOne extra GSCZ coach was attached by Train No.17639 during Apr-Jun earning Rs.0.34 Lakhs

ØOne extra GSCN coach was attached by Train No.17603 during April earnings Rs. 76,680/-

òãðäð÷æð ±ððòÀÿÚððüSpecial trains

ØSpecial Train No.: 07129 Ex. KCG –Ajmeer was run on 11.04.2016, earnings Rs. 9,68,112/-.

ØSpecial Train No.: 07438 Ex. KCG – Tatanagar was run on 24.04.2016, 02-05-2016, 09-05-2016, 16-05-2016, 23-05-2016, 30-05-2016,06.06.2016, 13.06.2016, 20.06.2016 & 27.06.2016, earnings Rs. 71.76 Lakhs

ØA new DEMU special train ( 07277/07278 NZB-MJF-NZB) was introduced w.e.f          23.06.2016 earning Rs.30,189/-which was discontinued due to poor patronage.

òÇÐððü¨î 26.05.2016 çð÷ 01.06.2016 Ãð¨î èÙðçðÒîÜ çðÑÃððè ¨îð ¡ðÚðð÷¸ðÐð :

  Hamsafar Saptaah was celebrated from 26-05-2016 to 01-06-2016:

ØObserved Rail Hamsafar Saptaah from 26-05-2016 to 01-06-2016 duly undertaking Cleanliness Drive on 26-05-2016.

ØInspections on Catering Stalls and Water Booths/Water Vending Machines on 27-05-2016.

ØInteraction by Officers with passengers on 28-05-2016 by trains.

ØPunctuality monitoring and ticket checking drive on 29-05-2016.

ØInspection of colonies, massive tree plantation, conducting Sports events, Inspection of work places obtaining staff grievances-redressal on 30-05-16.

ØFreight Customers Meet over the Division on 31-05-2016 etc.

Road shows:

Road shows were conducted to highlight Indian Railway’s   performance          for the           last two                  years  at  Kacheguda, Mahbubnagar, Akanapet,Kamareddi,     Kurnool City and Umri  stations wherein               Press meets were also organised.

Merchants Meetings conducted to improve traffic

1               Meeting with goods merchants was held on 28.04.2016 in DRM/HYB Conference Hall at 16:00 hrs to                                        improve  Freight traffic and  to assess the facilities to be provided at goods handling stations. 07                                                  merchants attended the meeting.

2.            Pre-bid meeting was conducted for lease holders on 25.04.2016 to  high light the  features of  leasing     SLRs     scheme.

3.               As a part of Rail Hamsafar Saptaah, Sanyojan  Diwas,     Freight        customer’s   meet was organised     over the            division by five Traffic Officers  at 6    locations on 31.05.2016 wherein 32 freight  customers attended  the                          meetings.

4.      “Looking Beyond Food Grains” Freight Customer Meet, was held on 28.06.2016 in DRM/HYB Conference Hall for  improving  Freight traffic.  Indent for loading Iron Ore Ex. Veldurthi to JSW siding was placed as a result of intensive marketing.
