The Personnel Department of Secunderabad Division deals with all aspects of human resource management right from recruitment to post retirement and is headquartered at 4
thfloor, Sanchalan Bhavan, Secunderabad. The Personnel Department is dedicated, responsive and sensitive to the needs of the employees. The sanctioned strength of the Personnel Department is 269 and supported by 7 Raj Bhasha staff. Personnel department caters to the needs of 22,069 serving employees of the Division. Personnel department strives in keeping the work force satisfied and motivated by promptly attending to the employees and their welfare by means of sincere, efficient and transparent working.


          Personnel Department is headed by Sr.DPO and is assisted by DPO & four APOs. The Division also has one Sr. Raj Bhasha Adikari. There are also two Principals looking after schools at Kazipet and Dornakal. The organization Chart is as follows:

  • Issue of NOC for passports/abroad visits

  • Allotment of Railway quarters

  • Arranging Settlement dues to the retiring staff


Introduction of ONR function:

          A monthly function is being held to hand over settlement dues exclusively in ONR cases. This has ensured curtailment of delays and instilled satisfaction amongst the retired staff.

Highlights / Events of this month 

Compassionate Ground Appointments: There are 27 cases of compassionate ground appointments pending at the beginning. 22 fresh cases accrued during . Out of 49 cases, 30 cases are finalised during the month. A balance of 19 cases is on hand at the end.

Settlement dues of 40 retired / voluntary retired / died employees amounting to Rs. 5,95,03,513 have been arranged for payment.

Notifications issued for filling up of Tech-III (PSI & OHE) in TRD department under LDCE quota on 29-04-2015.

CLI(AC) written exam results published in which 58 employees qualified out of 134 employees on 27-03-2015 against 13 vacancies.

530 individual and 70 group awards were awarded to the employees for their commendable services rendered in the year 2014-2015 during Railway Week Celebrations.

127 medically de-categorised employees were screened from 08-04-2015 to 10-04-2015 for alternate absorption.
