The Operating department which is responsible for safe running of Exp/Pass and freight train movement utilizes the resources offered by all other departments to produce economically viable, fast and mass transportation system for the nation.

High lights:

ØSecunderabad division loaded 5.101 MTsduring the month of JUNE-16 compared to 5.207 MTs in the corresponding month of last year. This is a decrease of 02%.

ØSecunderabad division has loaded 15.098 MTs during the period APR-16 to JUN-16 compared to 16.630 MTsin the corresponding period of last year.  This is a decrease of 09%.

New Traffic:

1.Clinker loading started from KBCT/Tandur on 22/06/2016.

2.Clinker loading re-started from VCSG/Sedam on 26/06/2016.

3.MGR system of loading between GXSG/Ramagundam and NTPC/Ramagundam started on 10/06/2016. 

COACHING OPERATIONS

  •  SC Division has a unique distinction of running Suburban, long-distance coaching and intensive freight trains.

Ø 149 Mail/Express Trains.

Ø 47 Passenger Trains.

Ø 37 DEMU Trains.

Ø 14 MEMU Trains.

Ø 121 MMTs Trains.

  •  2 Major Coaching Depots i.e. Secunderabad & Hyderabad.
  •  88 originating trains from SC out of which 20 daily Express, 55 Non-Daily Express & 13 Passenger Trains.
  •  25 originating trains from HYB out of which 13 daily Express, 4 Non-Daily Express & 8 Passenger Trains.
