With a view to enhance the amenities and facilities to Rail users and also to cater the emergent medical needs of the travelling passengers South Central Railway in co-ordination with Indian Railways Station Development Corporation (IRSDC) opened an Emergency Medical Room cum Generic Medicine Outlet “Dawa Dosth” at Secunderabad Railway Station on Platform no.1 in General waiting hall. This facility has been inaugurated on 26th May, 2021 by Shri Abhay Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division in presence of Railway and IRSDC Officials.
The operation and management of Emergency Medical Room cum Generic Medicine outlet has been done by M/s.DavaDost Pharma Pvt.Ltd. The setting up of this stall will immensely help the travelling passengers, while undertaking rail journey at Secunderabad railway station which is an important rail hub and a busy Railway station on SCR. Doctor shall remain available at the outlet in regular shifts and the Medicines will be available on discounted price to rail users.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Abhay Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad said Railways is always in the fore front in creating the improved amenities and facilities to its rail users as per the need and demand.. He also appreciated the IRSDC for coming up with novel initiative which will be helpful for passengers at Secunderabad Railway Station. After inauguration Shri Abhay Kumar Gupta also distributed Corona virus preventive medical kits to House Keeping staff, Railway staff and passengers
