ROLES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Senior Divisional Operations Manager (Sr. DOM) is the overall in charge of Operating department in the division.
Goods
DOM Goods, assisted by AOM Goods and AOM Goods2, plans and executes all goods operations at the divisional level such as loading/unloading, unhindered movement of goods trains for handing over to their destinations, realizing loading targets to increase freight revenue, improve divisional WTR, and optimum and efficient utilization of resources such as locomotives, wagons, crew etc.
Coaching
Aom Coaching looks after the operation of passenger carrying train at the divisional level, punctuality of such coaching trains, mutation of divisional time table and monitors caution orders, blocks and unusual.
Safety/General
DOM General looks after safety related issues pertaining to train operation, plans training framework for the staff, arranges for, counselling of the staff, seminars and inspections to inculcate safe and rule-based operation of trains, and implementation of programs initiated by Government such as Swatchh Bharat, Swatchhatha Pakhwada etc.
