-The General Manager held a detailed Review Meeting o­n Safety of train operations.

Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway presented “Employee of the Month” safety awards for the month of August, 2026 to ten employees during safety review meeting held today i.e., 31^st August, 2026 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. Shri Satya Prakash, Additional General Manager, SCR along with the Principal Heads of Departments participated in the meeting. Divisional Railway Manager’s (DRMs) of all three Divisions i.e. Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded joined the review meeting through video conference.

The “Employee of the month” awards were presented to ten (10) employees who belonged to various safety categories of Secunderabad, Hyderabad and Nanded Divisions, who have shown exemplary commitment to duty and maintained alertness thereby preventing unsafe conditions. There were 02 Loco Pilots, 04 Track Maintainers, 01 Technician, 02 Goods Train Managers and 01 Station Master among the awardees. The General Manager congratulated the awardees and appreciated them for discharging their duties with utmost dedication. He stated that these awards will also inspire and motivate other employees to be more vigilant and work sincerely to ensure safety in train operations.

The General Manager emphasized the importance of strict compliance with safety protocols across all departments. He directed that activities such as cable maintenance, signalling checks and ensuring safety at rail fittings must be carried out with utmost diligence.

He further instructed that special focus be laid o­n level crossing safety and regular surprise inspections needs to be conducted to check the alertness of the staff o­n duty. General Manager also advised to conduct regular safety drives and night inspections to ensure safe train operations.
