STORES DEPARTMENT |
ØThe Stores Department is responsible for the procurement of non-stock items,and medical consumables through online platforms such as IREPS and GeM, and sale of released scrap material . This office is also dealing with service tenders through GeM for different departments.
ØEnsures availability of the right material, of the right quality, at the right time, from the right source, at reasonable and competitive rates, to meet the requirements of all departments.
ØThe department manages scrap disposal through e-auction, thereby generating revenue and contributing to the safe and efficient movement of trains.
ØThe Divisional Stores Organisation is functioning under the control of the Senior Divisional Material Manager.
ØThe Office of the Senior Divisional Material Manager , Hyderabad is located on the 2nd floor of Hyderabad Bhavan,Secunderabad-500003. The office can be contacted at Railway No: 86096 and BSNL No:27820532.
ØThe Present Sr.DMM of Hyderabad Division is Shri Atul Dwivedi, IRSS.
●PURCHASE SECTION :
This section looks after local Purchase of non-stocked and stocked items (items which are not available in feeding depots and urgently required items).Sr.DMM/HYB office ensures local purchase of urgently required items as per the extant delegation of powers by Railway Board. Regular Purchases are made online through IREPS ( Indian Railways E-Procurement System ) portal and GeM (Government e Marketplace).

●SERVICES THROUGH GEM:
All service contracts are executed through the GeM portal in accordance with prescribed guidelines,ensuring transparency,efficiency,and compliance. The services include hiring of vehicles, housekeeping and cleanliness, manpower supply, Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC), and other related services.

●SCRAP DISPOSAL:
Divisional scrap is disposed off by the Sr.DMM/HYB office as per the prescribed procedures. Continuous monitoring is carried out for mobilization of scrap such as condemned rails, MS scrap, CI scrap, girders, coaches/wagons, and steel sleepers etc., from various units across the Division.
