Welfare: Though being the largest government employer, Indian Railways takes care of its employees and their families through an array of welfare measures and schemes viz. clubs, institutes, holiday homes, sports, scouts & guides activities for recreation of staff and their family members; community halls for marriages and functions; hospitals to take care of the health of all, handicraft centres for benefit of spouses of male staff, canteen facilities etc.. The South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation is a dynamic organization having many welfare activities in its kitty for the benefit of the families of employees. To sort out the grievances of retired railway employees on the spot, Pension Adalat is conducted every year.

Rules: The Establishment rules incorporated in Codes, Manuals, and circulars issued by Railway Board from time to time are placed here. This apart, Rules pertaining to Passes, Discipline and Appeal, Pensionary benefits, Leave, Provident Fund, Conduct etc. are available Further subject specific circulars viz.
