Team South Central Railway bid a warm farewell to Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR on the occasion of his superannuation from service today i.e., 30thJune, 2025. Shri Arun Kumar Jain took charge as General Manager, South Central Railway in 2022 and holds the distinction of being the longest-serving General Manager of SCR. Under his dynamic leadership and guidance, SCR has witnessed an era of unprecedented growth and transformation.
The Officers and staff of General Manager’s office held a farewell ceremony for Shri Arun Kumar Jain at Samanvay Hall, Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad, wherein he was honoured with memento, shawl and garlands. Shri Neeraj Agrawal, Additional General Manager, SCR; Shri J. Vinayan, Sr. Deputy General Manager, SCR and other senior officers shared their experience of working with the General Manager over the last three years. They appreciated his calm demeanor, vast knowledge and commitment to duty. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Arun Kumar Jain appreciated the team for their relentless hardwork and dedication to duty which enabled SCR to attain many great achievements.
Earlier today, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) of South Central Railway organized a special ceremonial send-off parade at the RPF Training Centre, Moula Ali, Hyderabad as a mark of respect and gratitude for General Manager’s valuable support, dynamic leadership and guidance. Principal Heads of the Departments, Divisional Railway Managers of Secunderabad & Hyderabad divisions and other senior officers, RPF personnel from across the zone also attended the event. The parade was followed by different shows by RPF Personnel displaying commando skills, agility, coordination and patriotism. Special attraction was a show by female commandos and two patriotic and devotional dance drama. Addressing the gathering, Ms. Aroma Singh Thakur, IG-cum-PCSC/RPF praised the General Manager’s visionary leadership, compassionate nature, and tireless support to the RPF.
In his farewell address, Shri Arun Kumar Jain expressed deep appreciation for the exceptional work of the RPF in safeguarding passengers and upholding national security. He particularly lauded the RPF’s humane approach in rescuing children in distress, besides its policing duties.Shri Arun Kumar Jain expressed pride in the recognition of the RPF Training Centre, Moula Ali, as a Centre of Excellence for cybercrime investigation and conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to all RPF personnel for their unwavering dedication and professional excellence
Later, a rally was held by officers and staff at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad to bid farewell to Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR filled with respect and gratitude for his contributions and lasting impact on South Central Railway.
