Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook inspection of Hyderabad Deccan (Nampally) & Charlapalli Railway stations of Secunderabad Division today i.e. 15thJuly, 2025. He was accompanied by Shri Bhartesh Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior officials throughout the inspection.
Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava conducted a detailed inspection of Hyderabad Deccan Railway station, wherein he reviewed the passenger amenities and facilities available at the station. He also inspected the booking counter, waiting room, station master’s office and circulating area of the station. The General Manager reviewed the progress of on-going redevelopment works at Hyderabad station undertaken as part of Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. The Divisional officials presented a detailed report on the progress and status of works. The General Manager advised the division to further expedite the works so as to complete the project by the targeted date.
Earlier, the General Manager also conducted a detailed inspection of Charlapalli Railway station. He examined the modern amenities and facilities provided at the station including executive lounge, waiting halls, Sleeping pods, cafeteria, ticket booking counters, lifts, escalators, Foot over Bridge, EV charging points etc., During the inspection, the General Manager also interacted with booking clerk, safai mitras and enquired about the duty hours, working environment and facilities provided.
