Shri Naveen Gulati, Member (Infrastructure), Railway Board & Ex-Officio Secretary to Govt. of India visited Indian Railways Institute of Signal Engineering and Telecommunications (IRISET) on 30thJuly, 2025 in connection with various ongoing activities being undertaken by IRISET and Centre of Excellence (CoE). Shri Sharad Kumar Srivastava, Director General/IRISET; Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, SCR other officers and staff of IRISET, CoE & SCR Headquarters were present.
Senior Officers from Railway Board Smt. Vijaylaxmi Kaushik, Additional Member (Signal) and Shri Saurabh Bandopadhyaya, Principal Executive Director (S&T)/Development accompanied Member (Infrastructure).
Shri Naveen Gulati reviewed the progress of Training being imparted to Indian Railway Officers & Supervisors and industry personnel for up-skilling their knowledge in connection with various Signal and Telecommunication activities and implementation of Kavach in Indian Railways. Shri Naveen Gulati also addressed group of Principle Head of Departments of Signal & Telecommunication of Zonal Railways who are undergoing training at IRISET and emphasized the need for up-skilling of Signal & Telecommunication professionals and faster roll out of Kavach in Indian Railways.He also reviewed various training equipments installed at Kavach Laboratory and other developments being undertaken by IRISET & CoE.
Shri Naveen Gulati also conducted a comprehensive review with General Manager, SCR and Principal Heads of Departments on various works being executed by the zone.
