Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook detailed inspection of Dhone – Kurnool – Jogulamba – Gadwal – Mahbubnagar – Kacheguda Section of Hyderabad Division today i.e., 01stAugust, 2025. He was accompanied by Shri Lokesh Vishnoi, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division and other senior officials from Headquarters & Division throughout the inspection.
Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava carried out rear window inspection from Dhone – Kacheguda section, wherein he examined the safety aspects pertaining to maintenance of tracks, bridges and signaling systems. The General Manager conducted detailed inspection of Kurnool City Railway station, he reviewed the passenger amenities, facilities and circulating area at the station. He also inspected the progress of redevelopment works undertaken at Kurnool station as part of Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). The General Manager also inspected CMLR (Coach Mid Life Rehabilitation) Workshop at Kurnool, wherein he reviewed the safe working practices.
Further, the General Manager inspected Jogulamba Railway station, where he examined the waiting hall and reviewed the amenities provided at the station. He also reviewed the redevelopment works undertaken at the station as part of ABSS. The General Manager inspected Gadwal Railway station, he reviewed the ABSS redevelopment works at Gadwal and examined the safe working practices at the construction site.
Later, the Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava conducted a detailed inspection of Mahbubnagar Railway station, wherein he reviewed the passenger amenities, facilities and interacted with staff. The General Manager also examined the progress of redevelopment works undertaken at Mahbubnagar station as part of ABSS. He instructed the officials to ensure adherence of safety guidelines at worksite and further speed up the pace of works so as to complete the project by the targeted date.
During the course of the inspection, trade union representatives met the General Manager and submitted representations regarding Rail developmental plans. The General Manager also interacted with media personnel and briefed them on the progress of various projects.
