Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook detailed inspection of Guntakal Division today i.e., 20th August, 2025. He was accompanied by Shri Chandra Shekhar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division and other senior officials throughout the inspection.
Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava carried out rear window inspection in Secunderabad – Mahbubnagar; Renigunta – Guntakal section, during which he reviewed the safety aspects of tracks, signaling systems and bridges. The General Manager was accompanied by Shri Santosh Kumar Verma, DRM, Hyderabad up to Mahbubnagar section and later by Shri Chandra Shekhar Gupta, DRM, Guntakal Division from Tirupati onwards.
Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava conducted a detailed inspection of the on-going redevelopment works at Tirupati Railway station undertaken as part of Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He reviewed the progress of works and observed the safety precautions being followed at the worksite. The General Manager also held a meeting with officials of construction organization at Tirupati, wherein he reviewed the current status of the project and further action plans. He appreciated the progress of works and advised the officials to further expedite the works so as to complete the project as targeted.
Further, the General Manager also inspected the on-going redevelopment works at Kadapa Railway station as part of Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. He examined the progress of works and inspected the safe working practices at the construction site. Later, Shri Sanjay Kumar Srivastava held a detailed performance review meeting at Guntakal Divisional Headquarters. During the meeting, the General Manager reviewed the progress of various infrastructure projects, station redevelopment works, provision of passenger amenties, traffic facility works etc., undertaken by the division. During the course of inspection, General Manager received representations from members of various trade unions.
