DG (IRHS) inaugurated 2D Echo and Oxygen Manifold Room facility
Dr.Jagdish Chandra, Director General, Indian Railway Health Services (IRHS), Railway Board, New Delhi inspected and inaugurated new facilities at Central Railway Hospital, Lallaguda, Secunderabad today i.e., on 30th August, 2025. Dr. Nirmala Rajaram, Principal Chief Medical Director, SCR; Dr. I. Siva Naga Prasad, Medical Director, Central Hospital, Lallaguda and senior Doctors were also present on the occasion.
Dr.Jagdish Chandra inaugurated the 2D Echo Machinery with advanced machine facility, Oxygen Manifold Room, renovated physiotherapy room and a dedicated corporate billing section office, that will immensely benefit the serving and retired employees and their family members. The inauguration of the renovated physiotherapy center in the ground floor of the new OPD block will cater to railway beneficiaries in experiencing modern and better physiotherapy sessions related to different ailments.
Addressing the Doctors, Dr.Jagdish Chandra appreciated the medical department for upgrading the facilities which will immensely benefit the serving / retired employees and their dependents. He stated that these advanced diagnostic facilities and services will be highly useful and convenient. He also complimented the medical team for the noble initiative of developing an oxygen plant at the hospital premises which caters as a lifesaving medical need.
