Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, SCR Conducts Annual Inspection of Guntakal Division

Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook Annual Inspection of Wadi-Guntakal and Guntakal-Bellary sections of Gunkatal Division today i.e.,
5th December,2018. He was accompanied by Shri Vijay Pratap Singh, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntakal Division throughout the inspection.

Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav commenced his day long inspection at Yadgir, he had a detailed inspection of station, passenger amenities and discussed plans for its further development with officials, he declared Yadgir Railway station as 100% energy efficient Station. Shri Venkat Reddy Mudhal, Hon’ble MLA, Yadgir met Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav and represented o­n developmental plans. General Manager halted at KSN bridge for inspection of safety standards and maintenance carried out for the bridge. Between Yermars-Raichur section, he inspected Level Crossing Gate No.219. He inaugurated prefabricated Gang Tool cum Rest Room and interacted with Track Man and Woman. He distributed them Safety Tool Kits to them.

After reaching Raichur Railway Station, the General Manager conducted extensive inspection of station premises, Health Unit, interacted with Safai-Karamcharis, inspected Railway Colony and planted sapling. During the media interaction, he stated that six Foot over Bridges work planned at Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Matmari and Guntakal Stations will be commenced soon. New line works between Devarakadra-Krishna is going o­n and the Krishna-Vikarabad new line survey has been completed and report has been submitted to Railway Board. Mantralayam-Kurnool and Dharmavaram-Bellary new lines survey is going o­n and doubling works between Guntur-Guntakal and Gooty-Dharmavaram is progressing fast. At Mantralayam station, the General Manager inspected various facilities available for rail users and inaugurated the hybrid power plant and inspected the Traction sub-station and planted saplings towards green environment. He stopped at Adoni Railway station and inspected station premises inaugurated Children’s Park at Adoni Railway Colony. General Manager, SCR inaugurated Gang tool cum rest room at LC gate No 117 between Bevinahilu- Virapur section and interacted with Track maintainers, he inspected Hagari Station.

After reaching Guntakal Railway Station, Shri Vinod Kumar Yadav had a detailed station inspection, Running Room, Divisional Railway Hospital, Shantinagar Colony, Permanent Way Depot, Multi disciplinary training centre and Accident Relief Train and Medical Relief Van. General Manager inaugurated Diesel Loco Shed and inaugurated Turn Table. He also inaugurated crew lobby for running staff and dormitory for rail users at the station premises. Other Senior Officials accompanied the General Manger and conducted department wise inspection.
