Kacheguda and Hyderabad Railway Stations became the 2nd and 3rd railway stations on South Central Railway to hoist a gigantic Tricolour on a 100 feet tall pole in the circulating area of the main entrance. The flag is an attempt of Railways to rekindle the spirit of nationalism and instill the sense of pride among rail passengers.
The flag at Kacheguda Railway station was hoisted by senior most Pointsman Shri R.Ramchander and Gang Mate from Gang No. 2 Shri A.Venkatesh Narayana of Kacheguda in the presence of Shri Arun Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager/Hyderabad, Shri N.Srinivas Raju, ADRM/Operations, Shri P.V.Sai Prasad, ADRM/Infra and Branch Officers of Hyderabad Division and members of the Public.
The flag at Hyderabad Railway station was hoisted by Mr Ashok Madhav Rao, Sr.Tech/AC/Hyderabadin the presence of Shri Amit Vardan, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad, Station Director, Branch officers and huge gathering of Rail Passengers and public.
The Railway Board has directed that National Flags be hoisted at all the ‘A1’ category railway stations on Indian Railways, acting upon which SCR has taken the initiative.
