Seven Oxygen Concentrators Donated to Railway Health Unit, Chilakalaguda





Seven Oxygen Concentrators were donated to Health Unit, Chilakalaguda by familiar welfare organizations Rotary Club of Hyderabad East, Asha Jyothi and Doctors for You under the Project Breath well today i.e., 29th May, 2021 in the presence of Shri Abhay Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division. Shri N V Hanmanth Reddy, District Governor, Shri M Surendranath, Project Co-Ordinator, Shri Y V Giri, President, 3150 Rotary Club, Shri Ganesh Rao, member of Asha –Jyothi and other Rotary Club members were present at the occasion. These Oxygen concentrators have capacity of 5 litres each and can deliver oxygen with 90 (+/- ) 3 % concentration.

The Health Unit located at Chilakalaguda being in the heart of the city is serving majority of the Railway employees and their dependents especially in and around Secunderabad area. The Oxygen Concentrators will help in strengthening the facilities at the Hospital to treat Covid patients and will be very useful for treating patients attending with lower oxygen levels.

Speaking o­n this occasion, Shri Abhay Kumar Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division said that in the present pandemic time due to covid 19 the need of oxygen has become very much essential for treating the patients. As we all know Rotary club is always in the forefront in organizing various social welfare activities for the benefit of the public. In line with the same, the kind gesture of Rotary club together with Asha Jyothi and Doctors for You in donating 7 oxygen Concentrators is highly appreciable. These machines will immensely help in treating the patients in the Railway Health Unit.
