The South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (SCRWWO), led by Smt. Jayanthi Mallya, President felicitated the best students of class X at Vidya Vihar High School, Chilkalguda on 15th July, 2021. The toppers were conferred with Gold medals, certificates and Souvenirs for achieving outstanding results in class X exams. The SCRWWO also felicitated Mrs. Phani Kumari, Headmistress and all the teachers for excellent work done in acquiring 100% results. The program was conducted with limited participation of school staff and student awardees’ duly following Covid protocols such as wearing masks, observing social distancing and use of sanitizers.
Vidya Vihar High School, Chilkalguda, Secunderabad was established in the year 1974. It is a unit run by South Central Railway Women's Welfare Organisation and has been a foremost initiative of SCRWWO in imparting quality education to children belonging to Railway families as well as the society. Childhood is the best phase for shaping the career and felicitating the students will motivate them to excel in every aspect of their future life.
Smt Jayanthi Mallya speaking on the occasion congratulated the students for bringing laurels to the institution. She called upon the students to adopt good teachings such as being well mannered, hardworking and respecting elders, which will pave the way for successful careers and a bright future. She advised the students to concentrate more on studies as the classes are online due to Covid pandemic and informed them to maintain fitness and to stay safe and healthy. Smt. Jayanthi Mallya also appreciated all the school staff for their support and contribution in helping students achieve excellence.
Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, SCR said that schooling is very important in nurturing a child to build a career. He congratulated the toppers for achieving academic excellence and stressed upon the responsibility of parents and teachers in identifying and bringing all round development of a child. Treasurer Mrs. Usha Jain, Mrs. Aruna Viswanath, Jt. Secretary and other executive committee members Mrs. Madhavi Vijay Kumar and Mrs. Aparna Eswar Rao also participated in the program. The program was concluded with vote of thanks by Headmistress, Mrs. Phani Kumari.
