The South Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organization (SCRWWO), led by Smt. Jayanthi Mallya, President distributed prizes to winners of drawing and painting competition held at Vidya Vihar High School, Chilkalguda today i.e., 22nd July, 2021. The competition was conducted for students of all classes from LKG to X standard and the winners were awarded with certificates and prizes for demonstrating their creative artwork. The program was conducted with limited participation, duly following Covid protocols such as wearing masks, observing social distancing and use of sanitizers.
Vidya Vihar High School, Chilkalguda along with imparting quality education to the students has been foremost in taking initiatives to accommodate extracurricular activities such as sports, art, singing and dancing competitions in the school schedule to help the students maintain fitness and also discover their unique and creative strengths which will pave the way for excellence in every aspect of life.
Smt Jayanthi Mallya, President, SCRWWO speaking on the occasion congratulated the winners and appreciated all the students for coming forward to take part in the art competition. Smt. Jayanthi Mallya, said that such competitions will help the students to gain more exposure and will help them to be physically and mentally active. She informed the students that participating in extracurricular activities and competitions will help to gain confidence and will bring out their innovative capabilities. She also appreciated the students for their hard work in learning through online class and achieving academic excellence even during the Covid pandemic.
Treasurer Mrs. Usha Jain, Mrs. Aruna Viswanath, Jt. Secretary and executive committee member Mrs. Madhavi Vijay Kumar also participated in the program. The program was concluded with vote of thanks by Headmistress, Mrs. Phani Kumari.
