Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager (In-Charge), South Central Railway undertook inspection betweenPagidipalli – Guntur section of Guntur Division today i.e., 12th May, 2022. He was accompanied by Shri Mohanraja, Divisional Railway Manager, Guntur Division and other senior officials (from both the Headquarters and Division) throughout the inspection.
Shri Arun Kumar Jain commenced rear window inspection between Pagidipalli – Chityala section. He inspected Goods Shed at Chityala railway station and conducted meeting with merchants about improvement of loading activity. He also inspected passenger amenities at Chityala station and met with public representatives and interacted with media.
Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Nalgonda railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities, circulating area, Foot over bridge, Station Manager’s room. He also inspected Goods siding at Nalgonda station and reviewed the expansion plans of the freight terminal. He also met with merchants and discussed on the business expansion.
Shri Arun Kumar Jainconducted a detailed inspection of Miryalaguda railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities, circulating area, Foot over bridge, Station Manager’s room. He also inspected Goods Shed at Miryalaguda station and reviewed the expansion possibilities of siding.
Later, Shri Arun Kumar Jainconducted a detailed inspection of Nadikude railway station and reviewed the passenger amenities, circulating area, Foot over bridge etc., He inspected Health Unit at Nadikude and inaugurated new Type – 2 Quarters at Nadikude and planted saplings at quarter premises. The General Manager met with Cement customers and reviewed their suggestions and assured them to improve the loading capacity and interacted with public representatives.
The General Manager also inspected several major and minor bridges in Pagidipalli - Guntur section, before proceeding to Guntur. During the course of inspection several public representatives also met the General Manager and discussed on Rail developmental plans pertaining to their region.
