Anti-Terrorism Day was observed by South Central Railway at its Zonal Headquarters at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager (In-charge), SCR administered pledge to Principal Heads of the Departments and other officials and staff participated in the program from their respective office locations. Anti-Terrorism Day is being observed throughout India to promote unity, peace and harmony. The Pledge reads as follows:-
“We, the people of India, having abiding faith in our country’s tradition of non-violence and tolerance, hereby solemnly affirm to oppose with our strength, all forms of terrorism and violence. We pledge to uphold and promote peace, social harmony, and understanding among all fellow human beings and fight the forces of disruption threatening human lives and values”
