The meeting of the Zonal Official Language Implementation Committee was held through video conference on 26.03.2022 today at the Headquarters of South Central Railway. The meeting was presided by Shri Arun Kumar Jain, GM/SCR. Shri JK Jain, MRA & PCME and all PHODs, representatives of Divisions and workshops participated in this meeting.
During the meeting, the GM/SCR congratulated for the successful inspection of Secunderabad Railway Station and Lallaguda Workshop by the Parliamentary Committee on Official Language and ordered to take necessary action on the comments made by the committee during the inspection. While releasing the Hindi in-house e-magazine 'Rail Sudha' of South Central Railway, he congratulated everyone for its publication. He said that the programmes being organized on this railway for the usage and propagation of the official language should be continued like this. He praised the programmes being organized by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee. He said that the material on the website should be uploaded in Hindi as well as in English. Station Working Rules in Hindi- English and Gate Working Rules in local language, Hindi, English should be issued simultaneously, so that their purpose is served. He asked the officers to inspect Hindi items during their inspections and work in Hindi in e-office.
At the outset of the meeting, MRA & PCME Shri J.K. Jain welcomed honorable GM, AGM/SCR and all the members. He said that programmes are being organized regularly for the usage and propagation of Rajbhasha on this Railway. Hindi programmes are also being organized by the Town Official Language Implementation Committee. He asked to motivate more and more employees to participate in these programmes.
Dr. Shyam Sundar Sahu, DGM(OL) had a detailed discussion on the items of Annual Programme issued by Rajbhasha Department and previous quarterly Rajbhasha progress report. The information pertaining to the special works done during the previous quarter was given by Shri M.K.Nagaraju, RBA/Hqrs. The representatives of the divisions and workshops presented their reports and informed about the action plan for the next quarter. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks.
