South Central Railway is hosting the 11th All India RPF Band Competition from 09th November, 2022. The closing ceremony of the RPF Band Competition was held today i.e., 11th November, 2022 at RPF Training Centre, Moula-Ali. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR graced the occasion as Chief Guest and distributed Trophies and Certificates to the winning teams. Shri Raja Ram, IG & Principal Chief Security Commissioner along with other Senior Railway officials and staff were also present on the occasion.
A total of 13 RPF Band teams from different zones and one team from RPSF battalion totalling to 227 Band staff participated in the competition. Three competitive team events – Quick March, Slow March and Overture – have been the criteria for the competitions. Similarly, Bugle Calls event was conducted to select the winners in individual category.
Addressing the gathering, Shri Arun Kumar stated that Music has been a binding force in a diverse Country like India. He stated that Music promotes Peace, Harmony and Brotherhood among the people. Further, the General Manager stated that the Band Competition is not just an event for deciding who is best but it is a celebration of togetherness and beautiful display of co-ordination and soulful march towards Nation building. He congratulated the winning team and appreciated the competing teams for enthusiastically participating in the competitions with true sportsman spirit and for maintaining highest standard of discipline during the event.

Winners: Railway Protection Force (RPF) Band team of South Central Railway.
Runner up: Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF).
Stood Third: Eastern Railway.
