The Zonal Railway Training Institute (ZRTI), Moula-Ali celebrated its Golden Jubilee (50th Annual Day) today i.e. 28th December 2022. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Shri John Prasad, Principal Chief Commercial Manager, Shri Rajiv Kishore, Principal Chief Personnel Officer, Shri R. Dhananjayulu, Principal Chief Operations Manager, SCR, Shri Sharat Chandrayan, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division, Shri A.K.Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division presided over the function.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Arun Kumar Jain stated that ethics and values will help to lead a happy life in profession and good status in society. He also stated that the dedicated work force is the core strength of Railways. Indian Railways has always valued its relationship with rail users and maintained loyalty towards them. He expressed that Zonal Railway Training Institute plays a critical role in shaping the approach of the front line staff of Railways. He expressed happiness about the celebration of Golden Jubilee on completion of 50 years of service in imparting training to the frontline staff.
The General Manager inaugurated the renovated 200 years old “Open Steps heritage Well” which was used for irrigation purpose of mango gardens during Nizam’s era, now located in the campus, the well is generating approximately 10,000 litres of water catering the need of 3 training institutes. He released a souvenir brought out by the Institute, Hindi Version of 3D Animations Video, launched Mock Signal Post and Station Manager’s Simulator Dongle.
The institute is currently provided with 10 classrooms along with hostel facilities for training 500 employees at a time. A separate hostel to accommodate 20 women employees is also available. ZRTI has been pioneer in introducing innovative ideas and concepts which were later on emulated by Training Institutes of other Zones. The institute is providing training in yoga, meditation organized by Bharat Yoga Samsthan and Heartfulness sessions by Ramachandra Mission. This helps in up keeping both physical and mental health of the trainees. Every year 100 to 200 saplings are planted in the campus which is really a very good initiative and is definitely appreciable.
Earlier, Shri G. Yadagiri, Principal, ZRTI narrated the annual report on the activity and achievements of the Institute. He stated that, during the year 2022, the institute has trained 3311 trainees in refresher courses and 844 trainees in promotional courses and 731 trainees in Initial courses and 3390 field staff such as SMs, CCs, and TTEs in Mission Rail Karmayogi Programme.
