A passenger who is travelling by Train No 07030 Secunderabad – Agarthala Express observed a child of his co-passengers playing very fondly with a ‘Toy Truck’. He saw that child was very much attached to that toy and he used to cry whenever the toy was away from him. The family de-boarded the train and forgot the child’s ‘Toy’. The passenger just found the toy and registered a complaint in ‘Rail Madad’ App by calling 139. He also mentioned that It would be great if the Railways return this toy to the family.
When the railway personnel contacted the passenger, the complainant said that he neither knows the name nor contact number of passengers. Railways swiftly swung in to action and traced the location of train and at the next coming station i.e. New Jalpaiguri attended to the passenger who informed about the incident and recovered the toy. Locating the contact details was a tough task as the ticket was purchased through the reservation counter in Secunderabad. The Team was put on the task to identify the reservation slip filled for seeking reservation, after thorough search, the requisition slip was identified. The contact details were traced.
The names of concerned parents were found through reservation chart, i.e. Mr. Mohit Razaa and Mrs. Nasreen Begum. Village name was Qazi Gaon,Uttar Dinajpur District. 20 Km away from Aluabari railway station. Railway team went to his home and delivered the joy.
Mr Mohit Raaza informed that - "My 19 month old child forgot his favourite toy truck in the above said train, which was very close to his heart. But I thought nobody would put any effort just for a toy. So, I didn't register any complaint even when I was also feeling bad for my child”. The father and the kid, whose toy it was, were very overwhelmed with this sweet gesture from the Office of the Minister of Railways. The father also thanked the Minister of Railways for the kind gesture. The informer also appreciated the efforts of the Railways.
