Appointment Letters to select New Recruits at Secunderabad
Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister virtually distributed appointment letters to more than 71,000 newly inducted recruits at the National level through video conferencing across 45 locations including Secunderabad. In Secunderabad, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister of Culture, Tourism and Development of North Eastern Region, Govt. of India physically handed over appointment letters to select newly appointed recruits to various Government departments and organizations under the fourth phase of Rozgar Mela at a function held today i.e., 13th April, 2023 at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda. Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR; Shri R. Dhananjayulu, Additional General Manager, SCR; Shri A.K Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior officials from different Government Ministries also participated in the program.
Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Prime Minister greeted everyone on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi. He congratulated the new appointees and their family members and wished them all the best for their future. He stated that the government is committed towards providing the best opportunities to the youth to achieve the dream of a developed Nation. The Prime Minister highlighted that the process for government recruitment is taking place at a fast pace across the country. “This Rozgar Mela is proof of our commitment towards the youth of the nation’, he said.
The Hon’ble Prime Minister mentioned that since the past nine years, India has adopted a proactive approach and as a result is witnessing more opportunities for employment. Speaking on the ‘Aatmnirbhar Bharat Abhiyan’ scheme, he stated that India has achieved significant progress from satellites to semi-high speed trains. More than 30,000 LHB coaches have been manufactured in India in the last 8-9 years, he said. Technology and raw materials for these coaches have created thousands of jobs in India, he added. The Prime Minister mentioned that prior to 2014, length of electrified Railway track was only 20,000 Kms, whereas, in the last nine years, 40,000 Kms of rail lines have been electrified. Concluding the address, the Prime Minister encouraged the new appointees to continue their learning process and said that the result of learning something new is reflected in both work and personality.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri G. Kishan Reddy, Hon’ble Union Minister congratulated the new recruits of the Central Government and their families on being given the opportunity to serve the Nation. He expressed his gratitude to the Hon’ble Prime Minister for uplifting the youth of the country and providing better employment opportunities. He informed that the union Government has set the target to provide 12 lakh government jobs to the youth and recruitment is being taken up in a transparent manner.
Further, Shri G. Kishan Reddy stated that under the leadership of our dynamic Prime Minister, the Government is undertaking various initiatives on a large scale across the country towards achieving advancement in various sectors ranging from education, science, technology and health. In this regard, he stated the youth play a very important role in the all-round development of the Nation and encouraged them to strive hard to create a positive impact and achieve Prime Minister’s vision of India becoming a fully developed Nation by the year 2047.
He also stated that in the past nine years, the Hon’ble Prime Minister has emphasized on infrastructural development which has resulted in advancement of Rail connectivity, road connectivity, air connectivity and port connectivity and has thereby boosted employment opportunities on a large scale across the Nation.
Earlier, Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR presented the welcomed address. He congratulated the new appointees and welcomed them to the organization. He stated it is a happy occasion where more than 71,000 candidates are receiving appointment letters under the 4thphase of Rozgar Mela. He informed that nearly 252 newly inducted recruits received the appointment letters at the hands of Shri G. Kishan Reddy today at Secunderabad. He also mentioned that nearly 200 candidates have been appointed in Railways, while the rest were appointed in other sectors.
