Ministry of Railways (Railway Board)is conducting “Rail Yatra VritantPuraskarYojna” competition for all Indian citizens, in which the cash prizes and merit certificates are given as below:-
First Prize (one) : Rs.10,000/
Second Prize (one) : Rs.8,000/-
Third Prize (one) : Rs.6,000/-
Consolation Prizes (five): Rs.4,000/- each
The Rail Yatra Vritantshould be written in Hindi language and should be original. It should have a minimum of 3,000 words and a maximum of 3500 words. Rail Yatra Vritant should be typed in double space, leaving at least an inch of margin in all sides. Pages must be numbered in order. Total number of words must be mentioned. At the beginning of Vritant a full sheet of paper should be placed on which details such as Name, Designation, Age, address of Office/Residence, Mother tongue, Mobile Number, e-mail, number of words of Vritant etc. should be written in capital letters.
The Officers/Employees working in Central and State government offices who are willing to participate in this Yojna should give a declaration to this effect that no Vigilance/Disciplinary and Appeal Rules are pending against them nor under consideration. Applicants who are not in any government service have to give a declaration to this effect that no criminal case isrunning against them and are not undergoing any punishment. Besides this all participants have to mention in their declaration that –
“The concerned Rail Yatra Vritant is their original writing and not been awarded under any other scheme”.
Participants have to send their entries in two copies to Assistant Director, Hindi (Training), Room No. 536-D, Railway Ministry (Railway Board), Raiseena Road, New Delhi- 110001 by 31.07.2023 positively. Entries received after the last date will not be considered.
