Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook inspection of Adilabad - Nanded section of Nanded Division today i.e., 28th April, 2023. He was accompanied by Smt. Neeti Sarkar, Divisional Railway Manager, Nanded Division and other senior officials from Headquarters and Division throughout the inspection.
Shri Arun Kumar Jain commenced the inspection at Adilabad Railway Station wherein he inspected circulating area, parking facilities, Unreserved Ticketing system facilities, Passenger Reservation Systems, waiting hall, Pay & Use toilets and Foot Over Bridge etc. He also inspected Baby Feeding Room, General Waiting Hall and interacted with passengers about the amenities available at the station. He examined the pit-line works. He inaugurated Health Unit, newly constructed Type-II railway quarters and Women’s running room. He inspected Running Room and reviewed the facilities available for crew and interacted with the staff.
The General Manager thoroughly reviewed the working of crew booking lobby wherein he checked the Crew Management System where Loco Pilots and Guards booked for duty. He also checked the breath Analyser Testing mechanism available at the Crew Booking Lobby. Several Public Representatives met the General Manager and submitted representations regarding passenger amenities, provision of halts etc., later he interacted with Media Personnel.
Shri Arun Kumar Jain also inspected Goods Siding, Pit-line works progress. Later, he conducted Rear Window Inspection between Adilabad and Maltekdi stations. He inspected and reviewed Goods Shed works at Maltekdi station.
