Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway inspected the Coaching Depot, Secunderabad and Secunderabad Railway station today i.e., 15th July, 2023. He was accompanied by Shri A.K Gupta, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior Railway officials during the inspection.
Shri Arun Kumar Jain commenced the inspection at Coaching Depot, Secunderabad wherein he reviewed the Coach Maintenance facilities, inspected the coaches which were under maintenance in the depot. He conducted a detailed inspection of the coaches and reviewed the maintenance of charging points, toilets, electrical points, seating’s etc. He also inspected the maintenance works at the pit line. The General Manager took part in the tree plantation program and planted the saplings at Coaching Depot.
Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed review of the on-going upgradation works at the Secunderabad station. The General Manager was briefed about the progress of upgradation works by the officials. He took stock on the progress of upgradation works of the Railway station and advised the officials to further expedite the works so as to complete the project by the targeted date.
The General Manager also reviewed the passenger amenities at the station and inspected the circulating area. He also interacted with the passengers of Devangiri Express and enquired about quality of facilities provided like linen, catering, onboard housekeeping services, cleanliness in toilets.
