The concept of ‘Bharat Gaurav’ train has been a huge success over South Central Railway, which is visible in the consistently good patronage for all trips. Enthused by the spontaneous response of rail passengers, the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has planned a new tourist circuit namely, Divya Dakshin Yatra with Jyotirlinga during Shravan Month. The train will cover important tourist places in the Southern States of Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
The Divya Dakshin Yatra with Jyotirlinga offers unique opportunity for all rail passengers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to have darshan of one of the Jyotirlinga (Rameshwaram), while also covering important pilgrim and tourist places at Tiruvannamalai [Arunachalam], Madurai, Kanyakumari, Trivandrum, Trichy and Thanjavur. Significantly, the train provides boarding / de-boarding facility for the passengers at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal and Khammam in Telangana as well as Vijayawada, Tenali, ongole, Nellore, Gudur & Renigunta in Andhra Pradesh.
The whole trip will be covered over a period of 8 nights / 9 days period. The train avoids all the difficulties involved in individual planning and making all-related arrangements like suitable trains, accommodation, food etc for the passengers. It includes all travel facilities (including both rail as well as road transport), accommodation facility, catering arrangements (Morning Tea, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner – both on-Board and Off-Board), Services of professional and friendly tour escorts, Security on train (including CCTV Cameras installed in all Coaches), Public announcement facility in all coaches, Travel insurance and presence of IRCTC Tour Managers throughout the travel for assistance.

Meanwhile, the 9th rip of the Bharat Gaurav Train in the existing circuit i.e., “Punya Kshetra Yatra: Puri-Kashi-Ayodhya” will commence its journey on 26th July.
Shri. Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway has said that the Bharat Gaurav Tourist Circuit train has witnessed spontaneous response from the rail passengers of the two Telugu states. He said that the upcoming southern tourist circuit will provide new opportunities to the pilgrim and tourist passengers to visit these historically rich and important places. He said the end-to-end services being offered by the train have been useful in not only saves time by avoiding individual planning for the tourists but is also economical as well.
