In order to clear extra rush during Velankanni Festival – 2023, Railways has decided to run eight special trains between various destinations as detailed below:

I.Train No. 07161/07162 Secunderabad – Velankanni – Secunderabad specials:
These special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Nadikudi, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Chirala, ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Vellore Cantt., Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam stations in both the directions.
These special trains will consist of First AC cum Second AC, AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class and General second sitting coaches.
II.Train No. 01161/01162 Mumbai LTT – Velankanni – Mumbai LTT specials:
These special trains will stop at Thane, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Guntakal, Tadipatri, Cuddapah, Renigunta, Katpadi Jn, Vellore Cantonment, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram Jn, Cuddalore Port Jn, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuturai Jn, Thiruvarur Jn and Nagapatinam stations in both the directions.
These special trains will consist of First AC cum Second AC, AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class and General second sitting coaches.
III.Train No. 01163/01164 Mumbai LTT – Velankanni – Mumbai LTT specials:
