68th Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (DRUCC) Meeting of Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway was held today i.e., 18th August, 2023 at Hyderabad Bhavan, Secunderabad. The meeting was chaired by Shri Lokesh Vishnoi, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division. Out of 19 nominated Members, 15 Members including Mrs. M. Padma Devender Reddy, Hon’ble MLA, Medak attended the Meeting.
Shri Lokesh Vishnoi highlighted the achievements of Hyderabad division in the current financial year till July-2023. He also detailed the members on various development activities taken up over the Hyderabad Division including Stations selected under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). In addition, he briefed the Members about the developments in Passenger amenity works and various ongoing projects.
The Members expressed their satisfaction over the developmental activities undertaken by the Division and appreciated the efforts made for getting various works done and also for the Stations selected under Amrit Bharat Station Scheme (ABSS). Later, the members discussed on provision of additional stoppages to different trains, provision of passenger amenities such as lifts, escalators, punctuality of trains, cleanliness of stations and in trains etc.,
The Chairman assured the Members that their suggestions / representations would be examined within the guidelines / norms in force and action would be taken accordingly.
Shri Y. Balaji Kiran, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and other Branch Officers were present during the meeting.
