-General Manager, SCR inspects Lingampalli railway station
Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook inspection of Secunderabad – Lingampalli MMTS train services today i.e., 24th August, 2023. He was accompanied by Shri Bhartesh Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other Railway officials during the inspection.
Commencing his inspection on board Train No. 47160 MMTS service from Secunderabad to Lingampalli, Shri Arun Kumar Jain travelled in each of the coaches of the train and interacted with the rail users, a large majority being regular patrons of the services. The General Manager enquired about the efficiency of MMTS services and took feedback from passengers, seeking their suggestions for further improvement of the facilities. The General Manager stated that the suggestions provided by the passengers will be useful in undertaking steps for betterment of the MMTS services.
Later, the General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Lingampalli Railway station. He inspected the entire station premises including Platforms, Catering stalls, Waiting halls, Circulating area, Booking offices, parking areas etc and reviewed the passenger amenities and facilities available at the station. The General Manager also examined the on-going developmental works at Lingampalli Railway station. The officials from Secunderabad division briefed the General Manager on various improvements which are being undertaken as part of the upgradation works.
In the return direction, the General Manager travelled by Train No. 47188 Lingampalli – Secunderabad MMTS service. He once again interacted with MMTS passengers all through the return journey and enquired about the services and took suggestions for improvement of the facilities.
