Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook inspection of Kacheguda Railway Station, Hyderabad Division today i.e., 26th August, 2023. He was accompanied by Shri Lokesh Vishnoi, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division and other senior officials during the inspection.
Shri Arun Kumar Jain inspected the Route Relay Interlocking (RRI) system and reviewed all the safety and technical aspects & procedures followed at relay room. He inspected the Signaling equipment, boxes and points and was detailed on working system by the divisional officials.
The General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Kacheguda Railway station, where in he reviewed the passenger amenities and facilities available. He discussed on further improvements and plans for providing additional facilities in station with officials. He also inspected the booking office. He inspected the consignment of goods which were stacked for loading at the parcel booking office premises. Later, the General Manager inspected the circulating area and railway colony premises and discussed with officials on further development.
Kacheguda Railway Station is one of the important rail hubs in Hyderabad city. 105 originating / passing through trains are dealt at the station daily. The station falls under NSG-2 category, with approximate earnings of Rs.70 lakhs handling a footfall of around 50,000 rail user’s on an average per day. The station is also adjudged as 100% energy efficient station.
