South Central Railway Women’s Kabaddi Team won the All India Kabaddi Tournament held at Manapparai, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu from 31st August to 03rdSeptember, 2023. Total 24 teams participated in the Tournament. This Championship has been conducted on league cum knockout basis.
South Central Railway Team beat Haryana by 45-20 in Quarter finals and entered into Semi-finals. In the first Semi-final SCR team beat Eastern Railways and entered in to finals.
In the finals SCR team had tough fight with PKR and defeated by 28-20 score and won the tournament. Ms. Pinky Roy of South Central Railway was awarded as Best Player of the Tournament.
Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager congratulated & complimented the team members for their victory. He advised the Kabaddi team to put their best efforts and bring laurels to South Central Railway and Indian Railways also.
