Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR Inspects Nizamabad Railway Station

Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook inspection of Nizamabad Railway Station, Hyderabad Division today i.e., 09th September, 2023. He was accompanied by Shri Lokesh Vishnoi, Divisional Railway Manager, Hyderabad Division and other senior officials during the inspection.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain inspected the crew control office at Nizamabad station and reviewed the working of crew booking lobby. He checked the Crew Management System where Loco Pilots and Guards are booked for duty. The General Manager laid emphasis o­n providing adequate rest before the running staff are booked for duty and instructed to ensure that the crew links are efficiently devised so as to ensure adequate rest for the staff, while ensuring proper efficient deployment of running staff for duty. He also inspected the crew running room wherein he reviewed the facilities provided for loco staff and interacted with the loco pilots. The General Manager also planted saplings at the running room.

The General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Nizamabad Railway station, wherein he reviewed the passenger amenities and facilities available at the station. He also conducted a detailed review of the facilities that have been planned for development at the station as part of Amrit Bharat Station. He discussed about the timely execution of the development plans so as to ensure provision of modern passenger facilities at the earliest. The General Manager also inspected the circulating area at the station and examined the Accident Relief Train and Medical Relief Van in the station.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain also inspected the goods shed and carriage & wagon depot at Nizamabad station and discussed o­n further developmental plans with the officials. Later, the General Manager carried out a rear window inspection from Nizamabad to Secunderabad station, wherein he examined the safety aspects of tracks and signalling system.
