Hyderabad (Kacheguda) – Bengaluru (Yesvantpur) Vande Bharat Regular Train Service to start from 25th September 2023
·The inaugural Train service will be flagged-off by the Hon’ble Prime Minister (through video conference) on 24thSeptember 2023.
·This will be the first Vande Bharat Train connecting Telangana as well as Andhra Pradesh with Karnataka.
·Bookings have been opened for all classes of regular train service.
The third Vande Bharat Express from the State of Telangana will be flagged-off by the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri. Narendra Modi (through Video Conference) on 24th September 2023. The train will connect the India’s major IT Capitals of Hyderabad and Bengaluru with the pride of Indian Railways – Vande Bharat Express. Importantly, this is the first Vande Bharat Train connecting both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh with Karnataka.
The train will start from Kacheguda railways station in Hyderabad city and connect with Yesvantpur railway station in Bengaluru city. Enroute, the train provides stoppage facility at Mahabubnagar, Kurnool Town, Anantapur and Dharmavaram, providing rail passengers the option to travel to either cities in both directions. The 610 kms distance between Kacheguda and Yesvantpur will be covered within a short span of 8 hours 30 mins. This is nearly 2 hours 50 minutes less than the existing fastest train in the section.
Accordingly, the train provides the fastest connectivity between the capital cities of Telangana and Karnataka. Filled with latest state-of-the-art technological features, it provides the most conveneient, comfortable and safe travel option for the passengers from all the three connecting Southern states. It also gives a fillip to the socio-economic development of the people in the region by expanding employment opportunities and strengthening the inter-dependencies between the people of the three southern states.
The regular train service of the Kacheguda – Yesvanpur – Kacheguda Vande Bharat Express will commence ex-Yesvantpur from 25th September 2023 and from Kacheguda with effect from 26thSeptember 2023. The train is composed of 8 coaches (7 AC Chair Car coaches & 1 Executive Chair Car coaches) with the carrying capacity of 530 passengers. The train will be in service 6 days in a week, except Wednesday. The regular train timings in both directions of the train service is as follows:

Detailed fares can be obtained through IRCTC website and at the reservation counters. The catering charges are optional and can be selected while booking the tickets. The fares from train starting and destination staion are as follows - The AC Chair Car fare including catering charge from Kachegua to Yesvantpur is Rs 1600 and the Executive class fare is Rs 2915 . Similarly, AC Chair Car fare including catering charge from Yesvantpur to Kachehuda is Rs 1540 and the Executive class fare is Rs 2865. The AC Chair Car fare without catering charge from Kacheguda to Yesvantpur is Rs 1255 and the Executive Class fare is Rs 2515. The AC Chair Car fare without catering charge from Yesvantpur to Kacheguda is Rs 1255 and the Executive Class fare is Rs 2515.
