Second Vande Bharat Express set to operate between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam

 

-The inaugural Vande Bharat Express will be flagged off virtually by Hon’ble PM from Secunderabad o­n 12th March 2024

-The Train shall run o­n 6 days (except Thursday) providing faster connectivity between the two Telugu states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

The pride of Indian Railways’ Vande Bharat Train service – the, Second Vande Bharat Express between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam and the Fourth Vande Bharat Express from Telangana is set to start its operations from 12th March, 2024. The inaugural Train service will be flagged-off by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India,
Shri. Narendra Modi through video conferencing from Secunderabad Station. The train would be operated from Secunderabad station to Visakhapatnam.

The existing Vande Bharat Train connecting the two Telugu states has been operating consistently with more than 100% occupancy. For the benefit of these passengers, now an additional Vande Bharat Express Train is being introduced along the same route and same stoppages.

The regular service of the train will be commence from 13th March, 2024
Ex. Visakhapatnam to Secunderabad and from 15th March, 2024 (Friday)
Ex. Secunderabad to Visakhapatnam for which bookings will open from 12thMarch, 2023.

The Train number 20707 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam will depart from Secunderabad at 05.05 hrs and arrive Visakhapatnam at 13.50 hrs. The Train Number 20708 Visakhapatnam – Secunderabad Vande Bharat Express will depart at 14.35 hrs and arrive Secunderabad at 23.20 hrs. In between, the train stops at Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry and Samalkot railway stations in both the directions. The train consists of seven AC Chair Car Coaches and o­ne Executive AC Chair Car Coaches with the capacity of 530 passengers.
