Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, SCR Conducts Inspection of Parli Vaijnath – Latur – Bidar – Zahirabad Section

Shri Arun Kumar Jain, General Manager, South Central Railway undertook Inspection of Parli Vaijnath – Latur – Udgir – Bhalki – Khanapur – Bidar – Zahirabad section of Secunderabad Division today i.e., 14th March, 2024. He was accompanied by Shri Bhartesh Kumar Jain, Divisional Railway Manager, Secunderabad Division and other senior officials throughout the inspection.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain commenced his inspection at Parli Vaijnath Railway station, where he reviewed the passenger amenities and facilities available. He also examined the Automatic Ticket Vending Machine (ATVM) and booking counter at the station. The General Manager inspected the circulating area, running room, crew booking cell and Health Unit at the station. Further, he carried out a rear window inspection from Parli to Latur station, wherein he examined the safety aspects pertaining to maintenance of track, bridges and signalling systems.

The General Manager conducted a detailed inspection of Latur Road Railway station. He examined the relay room, station master’s officer and ATVMs at the station. Shri Arun Kumar Jain inspected Udgir Railway station, he examined the passenger amenities, station master’s office and circulating area. He also visited the o­ne Station o­ne Product stall set up at the station. The General Manager also visited Khanapur Railway station, he inspected the station master’s room and station premises.

Shri Arun Kumar Jain inspected Bidar Railway station, he reviewed the passenger amenities and examined the relay room, booking counters, ATVMs, running room, station master’s office, catering stall and OSOP stall at the station. The General Manager also conducted a detailed inspection of the o­n-going station upgradation works as part of Amrit Bharat station scheme at Bidar. Later, the General Manager inspected Zahirabad Railway station, he reviewed the passenger amenities and examined the circulating area. He examined the working of ATVM at the station and interacted with staff. He also inspected the progress of station up gradation works under Amrit Bharat station scheme at Zahirabad.

During the inspection, the General Manager received representations from various public representatives regarding various Rail developmental works.
