PR. No. 191 - ‘Ayodhya – Kashi: Punya Kshetra Yatra’ Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train to Commence Journey from Secunderabad Railway Station

The ‘Bharat Gaurav’ train has been a huge success over South Central Railway, which is visible in the consistently good patronage for all trips. Enthused by the response of rail passengers, the Indian Railways Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has planned another trip of Bharat Gaurav tourist train from Secunderabad viz. Ayodhya – Kashi: Punya kshetra Yaatra from 09th to 17th July, 2024.

The Punya Kshetra Yaatra: Ayodhya – Kashi Bharat Gaurav Tourist trains will commence its journey from Secunderabad Railway station o­n 09th July, 2024. This 09 days tour of Punya Kshetra Yaatra will cover divine/pilgrimage places of Gaya, Varanasi, Ayodhya and Prayagraj.

The Punya Kshetra Yaatra: Ayodhya – Kashi offers a unique opportunity for Rail passengers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh to to have darshan of newly constructed Ram Janmabhoomi (Ayodhya) and o­ne of the Jyotirlinga (Kashi Vishwanath Temple) for spiritual enlightenment or do the Pind pradan rituals (paying homage to their ancestors) at Gaya. Significantly, the train provides boarding / de- boarding facility for the passengers at Secunderabad, Kazipet (Warangal), Khammam in Telangana and Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Vizag (Pendurthi), Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh & Titlagarh in Odisha.
