The 66th Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee Meeting of Hyderabad Division, South Central Railway was held at DRM’s Conference Hall, Hyderabad Bhavan, Secunderabad on 15.12.2021. The meeting was chaired by Shri Sharat Chandrayan, Divisional Railway Manager. Shri Hemsingh Banoth, Additional Divisional Railway Manager / Operations, Shri B. R. Krishna, Additional Divisional Railway Manager / Infrastructure, Shir P. Raj Kumar, Secretary & Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and other Branch Officers of Hyderabad Division participated in the meeting. This is the second meeting of the current Committee. Out of 25 nominated members, 18 members attended the said meeting.
In the welcome address, Shri Sharat Chandrayan, Divisional Railway Manager highlighted the major achievements of 2021-22 (till November, 2021) and explained about the various developmental activities taken up over the Hyderabad Division. He also briefed the Members about the completed passenger amenity works in the recent past.
The members expressed their satisfaction over the developmental activities undertaken by the Division and appreciated the efforts made for getting various works done. They also made representations on introduction of MMTS Phase – II services over Secunderabad – Malkajgiri – Medchal section, Introduction of new trains, running of special trains, restoration of passenger trains, cleanliness of platforms and coaches, provision of lifts, escalators etc.,
Shri Sharat Chandrayan, Divisional Railway Manager assured the members that their suggestions / representations would be examined within the guidelines / norms in force and action would be taken accordingly.
