South Central Railway has made rapid progress since its inception and pensioners of the zone are also partners in the progress of the zone, said Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, SCR. Success of any organisation depends on the committed services rendered by the serving and retired staff, he added. The General Manager was speaking as the Chief Guest on the occasion of the Pension Adalat held today ie., 15th December, 2021 at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad.
Shri Gajanan Mallya acknowledged and complimented the good work done by the staff of Personnel and Accounts departments in resolving the problems and grievances of the pensioners by drastically reducing the number of pending cases. The General Manager wished for the good health of the pensioners and assured them on early clearance of any pending grievances, while instructing the officials for clearing the pending grievances on top most priority.
Shri Rajiv Kishore, Principal Chief Personnel Officer complimented the representatives of the Railway Pensioners’ Federation and Associations for bringing the grievances of pensioners to the notice of administration. He also said that conducting the Pension Adalat is not only for pension related grievances but also for other issues. He informed the pensioners to provide particulars of family members accurately in a given pro-forma in order to resolve the issues easily to settle the family pension. A separate cell has also been established in the PCPO’s office with association of Accounts department to monitor the grievances on timely manner. Sri.Venkata Reddy, Principal Financial Advisor, SCR also participated in the meeting.
A total of 510 cases have been received during Pension Adalat and 388 cases have been resolved.
