Achievements
A total of 589 electric locomotives consisting of Conventional (Tapchanger) locos and Three phase GTO/IGBT technology based locomotives are homed at Electric loco sheds located at Lallaguda, Kazipet and Vijayawada.

Construction of new Electric loco shed at Guntakal is a sanctioned work and the construction is underway. Construction of trip shed at Guntakal completed.

· Apart from Main Loco Shed, minor attention after every trip are attended at Trip Shed.

vRepair / unscheduled maintenance of both passenger and goods locos.
· A separate Traction Rolling Stock Operations (TRSO) organisation at divisional level for the operation of the electric locomotives and MEMUs on the three electrified divisions of SCR. TRSO looks after the availability, fitness and technical updating of the running staff as well as minor servicing of locomotives.
